Radon-related health concerns as recently disclosed by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)

Current guidance to home buyers and sellers as related to radon testing and results

Importance of radon exposure documentation to avoid future litigation

Questions and Answers

The lesson plan is based upon recommendations and guidance from both regulators and industry professionals. Copies of the manual and the current home buyer’s and seller’s guide will be provided to each attendee. The information is designed to assist real estate professionals in addressing questions and providing regulatory based guidance to customers as to the potential health hazards and additional complexities of radon gas exposures as related to real estate transactions.

The cost of the 1-Hour session is based upon the professional hourly rate of $60.00 per hour and the cost of training materials at $5.00 per attendee. Travel rates may apply for certain areas outside of Beaver County. This session is not intended to fulfill the requirements for, or sanctioned as authorization to conduct radon testing.
